DisseminationCETE takes a proactive role in dissemination with a user-centered approach that considers the users needs as primary, mediating between expert and local knowledge. Dissemination activities focus on sharing knowledge across the sectors of the workforce development system, helping to influence policy and practice. Among the key dissemination activities conducted at CETE are needs sensing, question answering, and information synthesis. Below are some representative projects and publications relating to CETEs Dissemination capabilities. Related Dissemination ProjectsERIC Clearinghouse on Adult, Career, and Vocational Education (ERIC/ACVE) is one of the components of the ERIC system, the national education information network. ERIC/ACVE abstracts and indexes information on adult, career, and vocational education for providers of lifelong education and training, policymakers, employers, and current and future workers. It also provides information services by responding to questions and developing and disseminating publications. Information Synthesis Products is a project of the National Dissemination Center for Career and Technical Education serves as an intermediary between local practice and expert knowledge by synthesizing existing information sources, including research findings, into timely, accessible, and relevant products with real-world utility for providers of lifelong education and training, policymakers, employers, and current and future workers. Sharing What Works: Identifying and Disseminating Successful Programs in Secondary and Postsecondary Career and Technical Education engages panels of subject matter, evaluation, and practitioner experts to review exemplary program applications and designate programs as exemplary or promising.
